Germicidal Fluorescent Tube

Germicidal fluorescent tube is specialized ultraviolet lamp which is made by clear quartz glass and engineered to emit short-wave UV radiation, with peak wavelength of UVC 253.7 nanometers. UVC fluorescent tube can effectively inactivate bacteria, viruses, mold spores, and other harmful microorganisms by destroying its DNA or RNA, preventing replication and causing cell death.

Ozone & Ozone-free

Todaybulb's UV disinfection light bulb has both Ozone and Ozone-free version. Ozone version with 185nm can kill virus and bacteria both in straight direction and behind the door. Ozone-free version can only works for straight direction.

Different materials

Todaybulb's UV disinfection light bulb has quartz glass material and borosilicate glass material. Quartz glass is better in UVC light transmission and high temperature resistance than borosilicate glass, while borosilicate glass has lower cost.
