1. Nominal Wattage and Actual Wattage

Nominal Wattage is printed on the packagings and bulbs. The actual wattage means the wattage 30 minuts after the bulb work. The most of Todaybulb’s LED bulb can reach 90-100% of nominal wattage.

2. Voltage range

The voltage range generally means that within this range, the wattage of the bulb remains unchanged despite voltage fluctuations. Todaybulb has three power driver for LED bulbs:

- Linear Driver: 220-240V or 110-130V

- DOB Driver: 175-265V or 100-265V

- Independent Driver: 175-265V or 100-265V or 85-265V

3. Luminous Efficiency

Based on Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2015, Todaybulb’s LED bulb labeled the energy efficiency rating according to the following requirements

1. Convenience replacement

It can directly replace existing energy-saving lamps and ordinary bulbs with the same E27, E14, GU10, and B22 interfaces, without any modifications or the assistance of any technical personnel or professionals.

2. Safety

The bulb lamp uses LED as the light source, paired with a professional heat dissipation structure, ensuring low temperature during operation and preventing skin burns. The lamp shell is made of PC, and the LED in the light source part is also made of shock-resistant and drop-resistant material. The lampshade is also made of PC, making it resistant to drops and not easily broken.

3. Energy efficiency

The bulb uses LED as the light source, and the spectrum emitted by the LED does not contain infrared (IR) components. Moreover, the overall structure adopts a professionally designed heat dissipation structure, with a normal operating temperature of only 40-60°C. Even when used in large quantities, the temperature generated is much lower than that of ordinary bulbs and energy-saving lamps. In summer, this significantly reduces the workload and time required for cooling equipment. Combined with the difference in power usage (1:10), the result is a relative reduction in power consumption and cost savings, ultimately reflecting the energy-saving nature of the bulb.

4. Controllable and linkable

LED bulb is controllable and linkable, so it provides possibilities for Todaybulb to develope various functions, such as Emergency Led Bulb, Pir Sensor Led Bulb, Motion Sensor Bulb, Led Day Night Sensor Bulb, Smart bulb. User can control the bulb with sensor, mobile, remote control, voice etc.

5. Environmental friendliness

Ordinary light bulbs and energy-saving lamps emit a large amount of IR (infrared) and UV (ultraviolet) radiation during operation. Moreover, the interior of the bulbs is filled with inert gas, which can cause pollution with mercury and other harmful gases and substances during production and after disposal. When they are damaged beyond repair, they can also have a certain impact on the environment.

The bulb uses LED as the light source, which emits no IR (infrared) or UV (ultraviolet) radiation during operation. Moreover, the LED light source used in this product does not contain any filling gas and is free from shatterable damage, thus posing no adverse impact on the environment. This reflects its eco-friendly aspect.

6. Long lifespan

The lifespan of ordinary bulbs and energy-saving lamps is 1000 hours and 5000 hours respectively.

The lifespan of the bulb's LED light source is 15,000 -20,000 hours.
